| Not to many
people still have their first high school sweet heart. I still have mine
because it's been locked up in the garage for 30 years. The car is a '59
Corvette that I bought from a friend of mine, Pete Cerka class of '68. I
thought the car might be a good investment some day, but in '69 I mainly
wanted a fast "hot rod". I drove the car out to Albuquerque
(where I moved to and met my wife) from NJ in '79. I wanted to drive out
Route 66 style, but it's been replaced by Interstate 40 although it was
still an adventure and sections of the legendary Route 66 still exist
