| Where does my donation go? What is it used for? |
|
Where? - The money goes to KW Productions, the owner, developer and
maintainer of this website. KW Productions is owned solely by Kurt Weiss from
the class of 1970. What? - In addition to a yearly "Website Hosting" contract and a yearly renewal of the domain name westwoodalumni.com and inherent yearly subscriptions for content programming, such as java scripts, applets and graphic animations and other software, some of the money also goes to help reimburse Kurt Weiss, d.b.a. KW Productions, for the 10 to 15 hours a week spent keeping the website up to date. On a personal note, I am not rich, nor do I have a lot of time on my hands. I created this website for the joy of bringing our fellow alumni together, help with reunions and so forth. It is ONLY by the continuance of your donations that I am able to afford to keep this website going. Based on contributions over the past years, the reimbursement for my time working on the website has averaged a little over $3.00 an hour. |
